How to Get Rid of Cellulite - What Doesn’t Work
July 7, 2008 on 4:20 am | In Home |So, it’s not a big news flash to us that dimples are only cute if they’re on the cheeks on YOUR FACE. The dimples that we get on our butts, thighs, and hips have a name - Cellulite. Yuck, right?
While there are plenty of methods to learn how to get rid of cellulite, I want to warn you away from the ’solutions’ that don’t work. You’ve probably seen those products advertised on television. These commercials usually make extravagant promises, telling us that they can get rid of our cellulite and leaves us looking as gorgeous as a Hollywood babe. It’s safe to assume that most of them are fake. Here are examples of the things that just don’t work.
Creams and Lotions - Ah, yes, melt away your unsightly cellulite simply by massaging some cream on your thighs and rear. Sorry, no, ain’t gonna happen. At most, they might temporarily shrink the fat cells. But they will come back, like a sequel to a bad horror movie.
Body Wraps - Another one of those temporary fixes that last a very short while, if that. If anything, body wraps may even do negative things to your health. Switch off the television the next time you see an infomercial about these things.
Electric Muscle Stimulation - A dream come true, yes? Well, dream on. You just strap on this device, turn it on, and flop back down to watch more TV. And like magic, your cellulite goes away. Sorry, it only removes the lumps in your wallet.
If you truly want to learn how to get rid of cellulite, you have to learn what to eat, what to avoid, and what exercises will help shrink those fat cells. This is the only effective way to reduce cellulite and make our skin look smoother and slimmer.
It’s a tough call, sure, but we can do it. All it takes is commitment, drive, and determination to eliminate those dimples once and for all!
